Nepal - Maoists want Singh for prez

In a surprise development CPN (Maoist) has proposed Ram Raja Prasad Singh to CPN-UML as the next president.  In a meeting with the UML Friday, Maoists argued that they still want a non-partisan person as president and urged the former to support Singh for the post.  UML, however, stuck to its former general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal as the choice for the top post.
